About Stayvorced

Stayvorced is a small idea with a big ambition: to make staying sound braver than leaving.

We publish a weekly essay, a free assessment called the Stay Score, and practical workbooks for couples who want to do the actual work — not just read about it. We're not therapists. We're not lawyers. We're not pastors. We're a writing project with a point of view, and nothing here is legal or professional advice.

If divorce is the right call for you, we honor that. Stayvorced is for the couples who suspect the real issue might be communication, drift, or something else worth working on first.

Who this is for

  • Couples in the long, quiet middle of marriage.
  • People who feel themselves drifting and don't want to.
  • Anyone tired of the cultural script that says just leave.
  • Couples doing well who want to stay that way on purpose.

Who this isn't for

  • Anyone in an abusive or unsafe relationship — please reach out to a qualified professional or a domestic violence service in your country. That comes first.
  • People dealing with active addiction or untreated serious mental illness — those need professional support we can't provide.
  • People looking for legal guidance about divorce, custody, or finances — please talk to an attorney.
  • People looking for a religious argument. We're not here to make one.
  • People looking for a magic fix. There isn't one. There's just the work.

What you can do here

Stayvorced is a brand, not a person. The work is what matters.
